I was born and raised in England and I moved to the US in 2007. I currently live in Jupiter, Florida with my wife, Sarah and our daughter, Amelia.
I started playing golf at the age of 7 and went on to represent England at both the Boys and Mens levels as an amateur. I turned pro at age 19 and played tournaments for 18 years on the European Tour, Challenge Tour, Asian Tour, Australasian Tour, South African (Sunshine) Tour, South American Tour and one Web.com Tour event. I have played in more than 50 countries all around the world.
I have had lessons from some of the greats in teaching, like Pete Cowen, David Leadbetter, Dale Lynch and Kelvin Miyahira. I have also spent numerous hours watching Mike Adams teach in person.
I have taught players on the PGA Tour, European Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, Challenge Tour, Asian Tour, LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour.
My teaching is based on my interest in how the swing works in elite players and how the body moves in an athletic way. I am TPI Level 1, TPI Golf Level 2 and TPI Power Level 2 certified (Titleist Performance Institute), Kelvin Miyahira Golf certified, Swing Catalyst certified, Wedge Matrix Accredited Instructor, FRCms (Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist), Sportsbox certified, Foresight Sports certified and Gray Institute Foundations certified.
Having worked with, and watched, many great instructors over the years I have seen what works. My approach is one of simplicity. One that emphasizes athletic movements over rigid positions. One that emphasizes playing the game. One that encourages freedom and creativity to hit a variety of shots. Ultimately one that not only improves your game but also makes it more enjoyable.
I have studied the complex movements of the human body and incorporate the factors that make great ball strikers successful into something that is approachable to golfers of all levels.
